It's the first day of Winter and I'm looking back to the summer and the wedding invitations we designed for Ireland Am's Ciara Doherty, it's only now we have a few minutes to take stock and some shots...

We absolutely loved working on this custom suite for Ciara and Richard's beautiful wedding abroad in Barcelona, Spain. They wanted something very personal and unique

in their wedding stationery.

'I loved the idea of something unique and personal to Richard and I and Catherine considered every element of the wedding in our invites. She takes inspiration from the venue, destination, dress design, bridesmaid colour, theme and designs something that truly reflects your day. We are getting married in a venue overlooking a stunning (if I may say so myself!) mountain range in Spain and are marrying outdoors so we used that as the backdrop. When it came to colours, thankfully there are only 1,867 colours in the Pantone colour range! I promise I didn’t go through all of them, most of them yes, but not all of them. I’m thrilled with the result and I know from our family and friends that excitement started to really build when they landed on their doormats.'

The invitation design is a watercolour of a scenic mountain range in Barcelona, Spain (typical wedding backdrop!) with gold foil monogram detail on the band and throughout.

The invitation opens out to reveal a pocket fold with Wedding invitation card and Wedding information card with gold foil detail shown below...

And the beautiful gold foil monogram.

Ciara's 'on the day stationery' included watercolour and gold foil menus, placecards, as well

as seemlessly co-ordinating ceremony booklets, table plan, table names and signs a plenty.

We really love when we get to work with couples to create amazing custom designs.
